Waddle trade and age 30+ decline limit Sutton to WR3/FLEX with peaked dynasty value
Courtland SuttonWRDEN
Sutton's dynasty value has peaked and will continue to decline following Denver's trade for Jaylen Waddle. While Sutton has been productive with ~125 targets averaged over the last two seasons, he is not a dynamic playmaker who can elevate an offense, whereas Waddle brings superior separation skills and YAC ability better suited to Sean Payton's quick passing game. Sutton's week-to-week volatility is likely to increase if his target totals decline. A 2025 contract extension locks him in Denver for the rest of his best years with no realistic path to becoming a clear number-one target. At age 30+, he projects as a high-upside WR3/FLEX on a weekly basis, but his long-term dynasty outlook is diminished.

The Denver Broncos made one of the biggest splashes this offseason when they traded for Jaylen Waddle. Sutton has been a productive player for the Broncos, but he isn't a dynamic playmaker who can elevate an offense...his dynasty value has almost certainly peaked and will continue to decline now that he is past 30 years old
