Yahoo Sports NFL on Keon Coleman
ArticleBills are finding the right way to use Keon Coleman, and they must stick with it
From the article
Just because he's fresh off a 100-yard performance does not mean he's now ready to move into a classic X or Z role, staying mostly stagnant near the sideline. He's not suddenly ready to win against more man coverage and safeties more regularly over the top.

Coleman not ready for expanded role; Bills must avoid Gabe Davis deployment mistake.
The source warns that Coleman cannot become a target-magnet and should not be moved into a classic X or Z role staying mostly stagnant near the sideline, nor is he ready to win against more man coverage and safeties regularly over the top. The Bills previously tried elevating Gabe Davis to a similar expanded pass-game role, and it failed because Davis couldn't get open as much as needed. Coleman's optimal path requires the Bills to stick with his curated slot/in-line deployment rather than expanding his role beyond his current strengths.
