Willis struggled mightily, going 9-17 and 85 yards. He was sacked twice, though one of those sacks was a 'strip sack' where the ball hit a defender's helmet right before Willis was able to throw it.

Willis struggled with 9-17, 85 yards; lacks playmakers around him

Willis struggled mightily, going 9-17 for 85 yards with 2 sacks (one a strip sack). The source notes the bigger issue is the lack of playmakers helping the QB; Willis targeted 6 WRs in the contest and only Malik Washington contributed meaningfully. Without elite skill players around him, Willis lacks the help needed to succeed, a problem that would persist for any rookie QB drafted by Miami unless they sign a big-time WR or TE in free agency.
