Watson adequate but unreliable; Browns securing backup depth due to injury history.

Deshaun Watson has not put together a fully productive four quarters yet but has been good enough when the Browns have needed him. The Browns' decision to open the practice window for backup Dillon Gabriel reflects awareness of Watson's injury history and overall poor play since arriving in Cleveland, positioning the team to call on another quarterback at a moment's notice if needed.
