D grade: Jake Ferguson's blocking (D-); Jesse Holley was on top of Jake Ferguson all game as far as his run/pass blocking; Ferguson proves to be a reliable target for Prescott when he needs a first down or a touchdown in the red zone; Brevyn Spann-Ford is night and day better at the blocking game, so if we see him get more run over Ferguson in passing situations

Ferguson's D- blocking grade raises role risk despite red zone reliability.

Received a D- grade for blocking performance in Week 4 vs. Texans; the source Jesse Holley was disappointed in Ferguson's run and pass blocking despite his Pro Bowl status. As a pass catcher, Ferguson remains a reliable red zone target for Prescott on third/fourth down situations and made a key fourth-down catch to extend a game-winning drive. However, blocking has been a persistent weakness since joining Dallas, and the team's emphasis on tight end blocking for the run game and pass protection against elite pass rushers creates risk that Brevyn Spann-Ford could see increased snaps in passing situations if Ferguson doesn't improve.
