Brevyn Spann-Ford is night and day better at the blocking game, so if we see him get more run over Ferguson in passing situations, it could be the coaching staffs way of telling their No. 1 tight end they need more from him

STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Spann-Ford's superior blocking could earn more passing-situation snaps.

Described as 'night and day better' than Jake Ferguson at the blocking game; could see increased snaps in passing situations if the coaching staff opts to deploy him over Ferguson as a signal that they want more blocking contribution from their No. 1 tight end. This depth chart shift would represent a role expansion for Spann-Ford in Dallas's scheme.
