Behind the Steel Curtain on Jaylen Warren

Warren's physical running style fits the Steelers' emerging under-center bully ball scheme.

Jaylen Warren is a physical ball-carrier well-suited to the Steelers' emerging bully ball offensive scheme. The Steelers ran the Duo run concept 12 times against the Browns with 8 successful runs; Warren's running style aligns with the under-center, downhill run game where the Steelers are dominant (6.8 yards per play, second-best in the league). The source emphasizes that both Warren and Rico Dowdle are physical ball-carriers, with Warren's role central to the Steelers' shift toward a run-heavy, under-center approach that has proven far more effective than their shotgun-heavy passing game.
