McBride presents a tough challenge this week. Arizona's offense currently lives and dies by the passing game, as McBride is their top option. In this season's matchups, Detroit has faced impressive tight end play, but McBride is a step above it all and arguably the NFL's top tight end. With how the Lions' defense has been against tight ends, though, McBride is going to get his; it's just a matter of how much and when.

McBride is a step above and will exploit Lions' historically weak tight end defense.

McBride is the Cardinals' top receiving option and arguably the NFL's top tight end. The Lions have allowed 37 catches for 407 yards and six touchdowns to tight ends through four games (averaging 9.25 catches, 101.75 yards, 1.5 TDs per game; pace of 157 catches, 1,730 yards, 26 TDs). Michael Carter states McBride is a step above other tight ends Detroit has faced and will get his production against this defense; the Lions' best path to winning is slowing McBride down. Arizona's offense currently lives and dies by the passing game with McBride as their top option.
