Mallory faces crowded TE depth chart; Colts would need four TEs on active roster if activated.

Indianapolis currently has a crowded tight end room with Tyler Warren, veteran Mo Alie-Cox, and Drew Ogletree. The Colts would need to carry four tight ends on their 53-man active roster if Mallory is activated. Mallory is not a candidate to be waived and re-signed to the practice squad due to the risk of another NFL team poaching him during that process.
