Murray thrived in shotgun-heavy 4th quarter; system adjustment may unlock offense.

Murray was 13 of 14 for 120 yards with no sacks on the Vikings' final two drives in Week 4 against Miami, coinciding with the Vikings taking 54 snaps from shotgun—the most in a game since Kevin O'Connell arrived in 2022. The source notes Murray has long been more comfortable in shotgun and that the offense hadn't previously maximized his strengths; the 4th quarter performance suggests O'Connell may have finally adjusted the system to suit Murray's preferences, offering hope the offense could turn the corner if this improved, more comfortable version of Murray continues.
