Mile High Report on RJ Harvey
From the article
Get the ball to [RB] RJ [Harvey] and he'll run for 20 [yards]. That's just as good sometimes as throwing it 20 yards in the air... Do you all want me with the ball or [RB] RJ [Harvey] with the ball? RJ. Don't hesitate.
STACKED’s take
Nix prefers handing to Harvey over throwing; calls him the better option without hesitation.
QB Bo Nix explicitly prefers handing the ball to RJ Harvey over throwing it downfield in many situations, stating 'Get the ball to [RB] RJ [Harvey] and he'll run for 20 [yards]. That's just as good sometimes as throwing it 20 yards in the air.' When asked directly whether he or Harvey should have the ball, Nix answered without hesitation: 'RJ. Don't hesitate. Don't think twice about it.' Nix emphasizes that Harvey and other running backs are executing well with the football and that his role is to 'get it to the outlet, and let's move the ball forward,' signaling a preference for distributing to Harvey as a primary outlet rather than forcing passing plays.
