NFL: The Insiders on Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart is out for the 2026 season following knee surgery.

Jaxson Dart is out for the 2026 season due to a meniscus injury sustained on the final play of the first drive Monday night. While he also has an MCL injury, the meniscus damage necessitated season-ending surgery. Although Harbaugh left open a slim possibility of a return if the Giants reach the postseason, the recovery timeline is 4-6 months. This injury follows a history of physical issues, including missing two games and five concussion evaluations last year, raising long-term durability concerns for the franchise.
