Wilson sees 30 targets in two weeks; faces elite matchup vs. Lions' worst secondary and D.J. Reed.

Wilson was strong in Week 4, catching seven passes for 95 yards and just missing a touchdown. Over the past two weeks, he has seen 30 targets and is being used in the Puka Nacua role by Mike LaFleur. Wilson ranks fourth among all wide receivers in routes from motion (24) and third in targets (9). The Cardinals have deployed 13 personnel on about 20% of plays (one of the highest rates in the league), and Wilson trails only Davante Adams in routes from 13 personnel (14) with four targets ranking inside the top-five. In Week 5, Wilson draws an elite matchup against Detroit's awful secondary, which is allowing 139.7 yards per game to opposing lead wideouts (most in football) following Tetairoa McMillan's primetime masterclass. The Lions deploy man coverage at a top-five rate, which favors Wilson, who averages over three yards per route run against man. He will see primary coverage from D.J. Reed, who has allowed the second-most receiving yards in coverage this season (275) and sixth-most yards per reception (19.6).
