STACKED’s take
Harvey's elite receiving role makes him flex-worthy; Chargers allow 13th-most RB receiving points.
Derek Brown projects RJ Harvey as flex-worthy in Week 5. Harvey has retained his passing-down role for Denver with some early-down work, posting a 43.3% snap rate, 19.4% rushing share, 42.9% route share, and 20.2% target share, averaging 10.3 touches and 60.3 total yards. Harvey has been ineffective on early downs (zero explosive runs, 1.92 yards after contact per attempt, 8% missed tackle rate among 29 qualifying backs) but has been excellent as a receiver, ranking first in target share, first in yards per route run, fifth in receiving yards, and seventh in first-read share. Against the Chargers, who have allowed the 13th-most receiving fantasy points per game to running backs, Harvey is positioned for another flex-worthy week.
