NeutralMatchup

Bowers' primary matchup vs. Gonzalez uncertain due to shoulder injury; Patriots may use committee.

Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is the primary focus of the Raiders' offense and typically draws opponents' top cornerback. However, Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez (who would normally cover him) didn't play last week with a shoulder injury and his status for Week 5 is unknown at the time of writing. This uncertainty may force New England to use a committee approach to slow down Bowers rather than a one-on-one matchup.
