Ferguson's blocking lapses are a bigger concern than his receiving production; sell.

Ferguson is a sell due to blocking concerns that outweigh his receiving production. Against Houston, he caught three of four targets for 11 yards (including one crucial fourth-down catch), but the larger issue was his performance as a blocker. He spent much of the afternoon chipping against Houston's edge rushers with multiple moments where his technique and effort left Dallas' offense in difficult positions. Dallas relies on Ferguson to be both a pass-catching tight end and a reliable blocker, but he has had too many snaps where he either misses assignments entirely or makes contact without finishing blocks. With Dak Prescott playing at a high level and Javonte Williams showing he can be a major part of the offense, Dallas needs reliable blocking from its tight ends. Tampa Bay's defense will use multiple methods to create pressure and has held three consecutive opponents to 285 yards or fewer, meaning the Cowboys cannot afford preventable pressure through missed blocks.
