Evans is the primary weapon driving the 49ers' league-leading EPA per pass.

Mike Evans is a big reason why the 49ers dwarf the rest of the league in EPA per pass; despite expectations that De'Zhaun Stribling and Ricky Pearsall would complement him, the offense has been a one-man band relying on Evans as the primary weapon, as Shanahan's scheme has gotten the best of everybody and isn't relying on the speed of the complementary receivers.
