Hampton's backfield committee role and collapsed receiving usage make him unplayable without snap share recovery.

Hampton is RB22 in half-point PPR fantasy points per game through four games, with production largely touchdown-driven (three TDs on 238 rushing yards at 4.0 yards per carry). Receiving usage has collapsed: four catches for 29 yards on five targets after catching 32 passes in nine games as a rookie. The Chargers' backfield is now a full committee with Keaton Mitchell (26 snaps), Hampton (25 snaps), and Kimani Vidal (25 snaps) in Week 4. This is a disappointing development for a running back typically selected near the Round 1/Round 2 turn. Hampton may become unplayable unless he reclaims majority backfield share.
