Yahoo Sports NFL on Chris Godwin

Godwin's 88.9% catch rate makes him reliable, but Joey Porter Jr.'s press coverage poses a challenge.

Godwin has a remarkable 88.9% reception rate, catching 16 passes on 18 targets through four weeks. He is expected to be matched up against newly acquired Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr., who specializes in press man coverage; if Porter Jr. can erase Godwin, it removes a reliable option for rookie Jalon Daniels and gives the Dallas pass rush extra time to get home.
