Dart's season-ending knee injury makes Giants #1 most injury-impacted team in 2026.

Giants starting QB suffered a season-ending knee injury that significantly impacts the franchise's 2026 ceiling. The Athletic ranked the Giants as the #1 team most impacted by injuries in 2026, citing Dart's loss as the primary factor—the Giants are the only team to lose their starting QB for the season. The injury could have residual effects on the franchise beyond this season. New York is 3-1 heading into Week 5, but the team's ceiling is "greatly reduced" with backup options Jameis Winston or J.J. McCarthy.
