Pats Pulpit on Kyle Williams

Williams' low production due to sacrificial X role; effort and blocking remain solid.

Kyle Williams is playing primarily outside in a sacrificial X role where he runs clear-out routes to open the field for others; his lack of production stems from his role rather than effort or ability. He is running hard routes, blocking in the run game, and earning praise from coaching staff behind the scenes. His skill set remains valuable, and he would benefit from working at different positions and running a more diverse route tree like he did in college, but those opportunities have not presented themselves due to veterans ahead of him on the depth chart. He should get more opportunities this Sunday.
