Mahomes returned healthy, scored 2 rushing TDs in season opener vs. Denver.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes returned from an injury sustained last December and demonstrated full health in the season opener against Denver on Monday Night Football. After grueling months of rehab and full participation in training camp (though no preseason live reps), Mahomes showed mobility by scoring two rushing touchdowns in the first drive of the game (the first called back due to penalty), signaling he is fully recovered and ready to perform at an elite level.
