In his first NFL appearance, the seventh-round rookie from Rutgers flashed impressive ability to stretch the field but also made mistakes expected of a late-round rookie QB thrust into action. He completed 15/33 attempts (45.5%, ADOT 14.1 yards) for 186 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 sack for 9 yards, and ran 3 times for 16 yards (5.3 Y/A). He finished with a 29.4% passing success rate and 20.7 total QBR, which placed him ahead of Sam Darnold (20.4) and Daniel Jones (19.6) in Week 4.
