Yahoo Sports NFL on Drake Maye

Maye's leg mobility exploited Bills last week; Stafford's pocket presence differs.

Maye, the 2025 NFL MVP runner-up, carved up the Bills' defense last week. The source uses him as a comparison point for Matthew Stafford, noting that Maye used his legs to evade danger, whereas Stafford doesn't run much and needs clean pockets to succeed. The Bills' poor defensive performance against Maye (ranked No. 25 in points allowed, No. 27 in yards allowed) sets up a challenging matchup against Stafford this week.
