McCarthy has been a Giant for just a little more than a week. The Giants have been practicing since April. There is no way he knows the full playbook yet, or close to it... He was No. 3 behind Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz, neither of whom is really all that good. The Vikings couldn't wait to get rid of him.

The Vikings were eager to move on from him.
