Mallory ruled out Week 5; could activate within 3 weeks from Oct 7

Mallory started the year on injured reserve with a thumb injury suffered during a joint practice with Atlanta on August 20. The Colts opened his 21-day practice window October 7 and he was a full participant, but he's been ruled out for Week 5 against Pittsburgh. A 2023 fifth-round pick (No. 162), he could be activated any time in the next three weeks and would be valuable in the Colts passing attack.
