"But against Seattle, I think Brock Purdy is going to need to take some of the dicier shots he's turned down at times this season...There have been some opportunities (like on this B gap release to Deebo on a corner route) where Purdy turned it down."

Purdy must attack Seattle's boundary; secondary vulnerable to vertical stretches.

49ers QB Brock Purdy will need to take more aggressive downfield shots against Seattle's secondary in Week 5 than he has at times this season. The source notes that Seattle's defense condenses windows and runs Cover-6 and Cover-8 looks, but can be vulnerable to vertical stretches to the boundary. Purdy has previously turned down opportunities on plays like a B gap release to Deebo on a corner route, but the matchup against Seattle's secondary may require him to be more aggressive with those dicier shots. The source emphasizes that these vertical plays require time, which Seattle usually offers little of.
