Wright fined $17,911 for leg whip; not subject to suspension threshold.

Detroit tight end Brock Wright was fined $17,911 for a leg whip in Sunday's game against Carolina Panthers. Unlike hip drop tackles and other major fouls, leg whip is not categorized as a major infraction under the NFL's new suspension rule, so repeat offenses would not trigger automatic suspension.
