From the article
Big free-agent signing Chig Okonkwo had been largely quiet early, and head coach Dan Quinn said that was due to lack of time with Daniels after excellent work together in training camp. Washington's first offensive snap was a designed play to Okonkwo. Then Daniels went back to him on the next pass for 23 yards. He capitalized on another play designed specifically for him, connecting on a catch-and-run for 25 yards.
STACKED’s take
Okonkwo featured early with designed plays, 23-yard catch, 25-yard catch-and-run; faded in second half.
Okonkwo, a big free-agent signing, had been largely quiet early in the season due to lack of time with Jayden Daniels after excellent work together in training camp. In Week 5, the Commanders addressed tight end involvement concerns (the position group had 10 receptions for 65 yards on 17 targets through four games, league-low) by featuring Okonkwo early. Washington's first offensive snap was a designed play to Okonkwo; Daniels then connected with him on the next pass for 23 yards, followed by a catch-and-run for 25 yards on another designed play. Okonkwo went completely quiet in the second half, but the early involvement demonstrated his impact potential when featured.
