Purdy delivered MVP-level fourth-quarter drive despite uneven game; 189 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT.

Despite an uneven performance with turnover-worthy plays and a rough interception on a bad read, Purdy delivered in clutch moments when it mattered most. He finished with 189 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT on 19-of-29 passing attempts while being sacked three times for the first time this season. His fourth-quarter drive was MVP-level: 7-of-8 for 89 yards including a 7-yard TD pass to Brandin Cooks and a two-point conversion to Mike Evans, followed by an eight-play, 43-yard drive for a go-ahead field goal. The source notes he held the ball too long early but fought through to lead the 49ers to a 5-0 record.
