Evans dominated with 7 catches, 113 yards, 1 TD on 10 targets despite rib injury; true WR1.

Evans was the dominant force in the 49ers passing game, gutting out 7 catches for 113 yards and 1 TD on 10 targets despite clearly dealing with a rib injury. He outplayed Seattle's coverage, making several tough contested catches and serving as the key red-zone target for Purdy. The source emphasizes Evans's incredible hands and his emergence as a true WR1 for Purdy after the 49ers lacked that position in 2025. While other receivers (Deebo Samuel, Jacob Cowing, Brandin Cooks) combined for just 4 catches and 37 yards, Evans came up often in big moments.
