Traded to Houston after becoming odd fit in Cardinals receiver logjam; just 13 targets in four games.

Traded from Arizona Cardinals to Houston Texans mid-season; was fourth-overall pick in 2024 but has been a roller coaster since rookie year. In 2026, targeted just 13 times in four games with five receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown; became odd fit in LaFleur's system amid receiver logjam with Michael Wilson commanding WR1 role, Trey McBride as alpha target, and youngsters Reggie Virgil and Jalen Brooks emerging. Brissett wasn't looking his way in most games despite good locker room relationship. Reunites with former college quarterback C.J. Stroud in Houston.
