James was a pleasant surprise as a returner. He averaged 30.8 yards on four returns. He had a 39-yarder that looked like he pin-balled for an extra 10 yards. If Deebo is out and Cowing's usage on offense increases, James is the primary kick returner.

James averaged 30.8 yards per return; primary returner if Deebo sits.

Emerged as a pleasant surprise on special teams, averaging 30.8 yards on four kickoff returns including a 39-yarder that appeared to gain an extra 10 yards through evasive running. If Deebo Samuel is unavailable and Jalin Cowing's offensive usage increases, James becomes the primary kick returner. He also forced a holding call on a kickoff that backed Seattle up on their final drive.
