Big Cat Country on Ameer Abdullah

Abdullah's 53-yard kickoff return set up Cam Little's game-winning field goal with one second left.

Abdullah collected the kickoff following Jake Elliott's 48-yard field goal that gave Philadelphia a 17-16 lead with eight seconds remaining, and returned it 53 yards to the Eagles' 39-yard line. This return left Jacksonville with one second on the clock and positioned the Jaguars in field-goal range, directly enabling Cam Little's game-winning 57-yard field goal. The source notes Abdullah's return was made possible by Philadelphia's decision to kick short rather than boot the ball through the end zone, a special teams decision that will draw scrutiny.
