Bolts From The Blue on Justin Herbert

Herbert's 121 passing yards and five sacks reflect broken Chargers offense amid injuries.

Herbert's offensive performance earned a 'C' grade from CBS Sports' John Breech, who stated 'The Chargers offense looks broken.' Herbert threw for only 121 yards and took five sacks due to poor pass protection, with Breech noting 'Justin Herbert barely had time to breath in this game. Every time he dropped back to pass, the Broncos were on him.' The Chargers' offensive struggles, compounded by injuries including the absence of starting left tackle Rashawn Slater, contributed to two consecutive turnovers in the fourth quarter that helped fuel a 13-point unanswered run by Denver.
