STACKED’s take
Willis' three turnovers and 136 passing yards sink Miami; decision-making questioned.
Willis' three-turnover performance (2 INTs, 1 fumble) in Week 5 loss to Cincinnati was the defining story of Miami's defeat. He completed 15 of 27 passes for 136 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs, plus lost a fumble. The source criticizes his decision-making and inconsistency, noting he repeatedly went 'big-play-hunting' instead of taking what the defense gave him, particularly damaging in the first half as Cincinnati built a 21-7 lead. While Willis showed athleticism with 6 carries for 63 rushing yards (including a 39-yard scramble), the source states turnovers are 'impossible to ignore' and questions whether Willis can be 'a dependable part of their future' at 0-5, concluding Sunday's performance 'did little to inspire confidence.'
