Negative signalRole

McCarthy replacement speculation is premature; Winston has earned the starting role.

The source dismisses speculation about J.J. McCarthy replacing Jameis Winston as starting quarterback, calling it 'breathless drum-banging.' With Winston's strong performance (254 yards, 3 TDs, 26-38 in second half) and 2-0-1 record, there is no actionable case for McCarthy to take over the role in the near term.
