Turpin's kickoff fumble gave Tampa short field, extending lead to 24-10.

Turpin fumbled the ensuing kickoff return after Tampa scored to take a 21-10 lead early in the third quarter. Tampa recovered at the Dallas 37-yard line and converted the short field into a 41-yard field goal, extending its lead to 24-10. While Turpin is responsible for securing the football, the source notes this was a critical situation where Dallas needed an opportunity to respond after surrendering a quick touchdown, and the turnover was particularly damaging because it gave Tampa another scoring chance without having to drive the length of the field.
