Watson returns to Chiefs practice squad after Thornton ankle injury creates depth opening.

Justin Watson signed to the Chiefs practice squad after being released by the Texans in August; he returns to Kansas City where he played 2022-2024, recording 64 catches for 1,064 yards and seven touchdowns in 50 regular season games plus nine catches for 120 yards across three postseasons and two Super Bowl wins. The signing comes after Tyquan Thornton suffered a dislocated ankle in Week 4, creating a depth chart opening at wide receiver.
