Hurts faced 54.8% pressure rate but threw tight-window passes at season-high 30% rate; offense scored just 3 second-half

Hurts faced significant pressure (54.8% of dropbacks) despite logging the 2nd-quickest average time to throw of his career; he threw into tight windows on a season-high 30.0% of passes against Jacksonville (compared to 8.8% through first four weeks, third-lowest in NFL). While he made crucial third-and-long completions and led the Eagles into field goal range, he was the quarterback of an offense that scored just three points in the second half. Vinny Curry notes Hurts played well at times but the Eagles paid him to be a big reason the offense succeeds, and that's not happening right now; they need more from him.
