Allen's first-half struggles (4-of-7, 60 yards, 1 INT) marked ugly pocket presence.

In the first half, Allen was 'antsy in the pocket,' inaccurate on throws beyond the line of scrimmage, and stared down receivers. He completed 4-of-7 passes for 60 yards with 1 interception; his numbers were 'buoyed by a 40-yard gain on a screen pass' to Ty Johnson. He threw a bad interception on an arm-punt attempt when Johnson was open early but Allen didn't see him while evading pressure, and nearly threw another interception on third-and-21 when he forced it to Skyler Bell in double coverage. He rushed 3 times for 21 yards. The source called it 'an ugly first-half performance.'
