The addition of Kaytron Allen, a 5'11", nearly 220 lbs RB tells me that Sully and Hafley want to stick to the bigger RBs like Green Bay uses.

Allen fits the Dolphins' bigger back archetype but isn't expected as a long-term solution.

The Earl assesses Allen as a fit for the Dolphins' apparent shift toward bigger, downhill-type running backs (5'11", nearly 220 lbs), but does not expect him to be a waiver wire gem or long-term solution. The addition reflects offensive coordinator and coach Hafley's preference for power-type backs similar to Green Bay's approach.
