Pats Pulpit on Drake Maye

Drake Maye's dominant Week 5 turnaround marks elite performance after slow start.

Drake Maye delivered a dominant Week 5 performance against the Raiders, marking a dramatic turnaround from his first three games of the season. Multiple analysts highlighted his elite play: Jerry Thornton noted 'The Patriots have quickly reestablished themselves as one of the NFL's superpowers. Drake Maye is asserting his dominance once more.' Jarrett Bell named him a 'Super Stud' for Week 5, and Nate Davis included him among star quarterbacks finally playing better. The source credits his success to Josh McDaniels' play-calling scheme, which sequences plays and builds different presentations to protect core concepts, unlocking an undermanned offense.
