Dawgs By Nature on Deshaun Watson

Watson's 45.5% completion rate and 8 sacks reflect poor decision-making in rainy conditions.

Watson completed 15-of-33 passes (45.5%) for 155 yards and 1 TD while taking 8 sacks; added 6 carries for 40 yards (6.7 YPC). The source notes Watson deviated from his formula of taking short, open passes in favor of pushing the ball downfield early to compensate for the running game's failure and penalties. Watson also took questionable sacks late in the game, including a 4th-and-11 sack to conclude the game, when he should have let something rip. PFF graded him 48.2 on offense.
