STACKED’s take

Negative signalUsage

Jeanty's 3.4 YPC efficiency lags backup Washington's 5.0 YPC despite heavy usage.

Injured running back continued as workhorse despite poor efficiency and availability of superior backup; averaging 3.4 yards per carry compared to Mike Washington Jr.'s 5.0 YPC this season, yet remained the primary option while Washington was benched until the team was down 28 points in the third quarter. The source characterizes this as a coaching failure: 'Continuing to trot out an injured Ashton Jeanty and making him the workhorse was stupid.'
