Bolts From The Blue on Justin Herbert

Herbert's 937 yards and 5 TDs masked by Chargers' 30th-ranked passing offense and rookie-heavy lineup.

Justin Herbert has 937 passing yards and 5 touchdowns, but the source frames the Chargers' offensive situation as 'horrendous at passing the football' (30th in passing yards per game at 164.6). The source also notes the Chargers are likely to trot out three to four rookies on offense, leading to the expectation of 'abysmal play' and another loss, suggesting Herbert faces an uphill battle against the elite Chiefs defense.
