Arrowhead Pride on Cyrus Allen

Mahomes backs Allen despite zero NFL catches; full week of reps expected to help.

Patrick Mahomes expressed confidence that Allen can rise to the opportunity created by injuries to Thornton and Rice. Despite having yet to make his first NFL catch, Mahomes believes Allen will benefit from a full week of practice reps in the game plan rather than being thrown in cold. Mahomes stated 'I have a lot of confidence in those guys' and noted Allen 'did a great job at training camp' and 'when their number's been called in the season, they've done a great job as well.'
