Bleeding Green Nation on Eli Stowers

Stowers unlikely to return soon; limited roster role as depth tight end.

Stowers was limited in Wednesday's practice and practiced for the first time since the lead-up to Week 1 with a quad injury. The Eagles opened his 21-day practice window from injured reserve. There is really no room for him on the roster as a depth tight end who doesn't help on special teams, and the Eagles could and should be slow-playing any potential return.
