Jeanty's 3.58 YPC career average is worst for 1st-round RB since 2015.

Raiders starting RB Ashton Jeanty's rushing efficiency has deteriorated into his second season; his career 3.58 yards per carry is the lowest for any 1st-round RB in their first 22 games since 2015, worse than 2015 1st-rounder Melvin Gordon's 3.52 YPC. The source notes this is a discouraging stat and raises questions about whether blocking or Jeanty's health is the root cause of the Raiders' league-worst ground game (2.99 YPC team average through five games).
