Shakir's early-season targets affected by Allen's inconsistent release-point mechanics.

Khalil Shakir was targeted on a deep throw against the Lions in which Allen's release point appeared to drop to a sidearm delivery, resulting in a miss; however, Shakir also caught a short over-the-middle completion in overtime against the Rams where Allen's delivery was notably higher and more mechanically sound, suggesting Shakir's production may be affected by Allen's mechanical inconsistency early in the season.
